Editorial policy
Inspired Spotlight aims to be clear about what it knows, what it interprets and how its material is made. Our articles should give readers sound context without presenting opinion as fact.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable sources and take care with dates, terminology and attribution. When a point is disputed or an interpretation is one of several, we say so. We do not claim first-hand experience, testing or research that did not take place.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for relevance and reader value. Payment or a partnership does not guarantee coverage or a favourable view. Any sponsored, paid or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial content.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, they can contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers rather than quietly changing the meaning.
Images and illustrations
Illustrations may be created with AI tools. Where an illustration is AI-generated, we identify it as such. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence of a real artwork, person, place or event.
Curiosity is a good way in
A closer look can make creative work more legible without closing down its mysteries. We make room for the context, choices and different readings that help a work stay with you.
